And Amnesty International official says China should listen to the demands of Tibetans who are asking to freely exercise their religion and culture. Sam Zarifi called on China to immediately release Tibetans jailed for protesting Chinese policies. He spoke after news reports said that a female Tibetan Buddhist nun had set herself on fire and died. The combined Tibetan exile group called Free Tibet said 20-year-old Tenzin Wangmo was the ninth Tibetan and first woman set herself on fire this year.
