Health officials in the United States say 15 people have died and 84 others became sick after eating cantaloupe. The cantaloupe came from a farm in the western state of Colorado. Official said the fruit was infected with listeria. The Center for Disease and Prevention says 19 states have reported listeria infections. The first case was reported at the end of July. The CDC said the listeria outbreak is the worst of its kind in the United States in more than 10 years. People can become sick up to 2 month after eating food infected with the bacteria.
