Latest news about the swallow's nest
Last Friday, I found a board fixed to the wall below the swallow's nest. I don't know about its main aim. But, I think that this shop's owner wants to avoid swallow's waste down on the front of the shop.

Yes, I would agree that that is probably the reason that it's there. Kind of sucks for the swallow, though!

Thank you for a comment. But, I don't know what is the aim of this aim.
このボードは、ツバメの糞除け（ふんよけ）のようでもあり、また、以前のように、下まで巣が落ちないようにするためのもののようでもあり、よくわかりません。これを取り付けた、店主に聞けばその人の意図がわかるのですが。
Very interesting. Here people often uses old cds and old plastic bottles to avoid the nests.
