In my area, fine days have continued since the weather forecastdeclared the end of rainy season on July 24.(We call it "tsuyu-akesengen".) The temperature is very hot, more than 30 degrees celsius!

It's been raining for weeks in Georgetown/Austin and about 29 Celsius at night and 35 Celsius during the day even with the cloud cover. It wouldn't be as bad with lower humidity.

That expression means "If the humidity (湿度) was lower, the heat would be more tolerable." Does that make sense?
