Hundreds of people in Ireland gathered to protect the opening of first abortion center

Hundreds of people have gathered to protest the opening of Ireland's first abortion center in the British-controlled northern city of Belfast. The clinic is operated by a London-based family planning group. Its first patient arrived Thursday. Laws in the province of Northern Ireland allow women to have an abortion only if they are less than nine weeks pregnant. Doctors also must determine that they are at risk of death or serious physical or mental damage if they continue with the pregnancy.

British-controlled
> This is good hyphen usage!

The clinics is
> The clinic is

to have abortion only
> to have an abortion only
> to have abortions only
Both are okay.

with pregnancy
> with the pregnancy
I can't listen to the audio right now, so I'm not sure that this is what he said, but this sounds better to me.

Great work!
