A Chinese manufacturer admitted that it employed under-aged workers

A major Chinese manufacturer said Tuesday that it employed under-age student workers for about 3 weeks at its Yantai center in Shandong province. Foxconn Technology Group said it took action to return the interns to their schools. China's legal working age is 16. Foxconn is a major manufacturer for technology companies including Apple. Foxconn said Apple products are not produced at Yantai center. Labor group say Foxconn has permitted 60 hour work weeks and violates health and safety rules.
