rebuilding a nest

I reported a poor swallow in my last entry. But, today, I have a good news.

On my way to my office this morning, , I found that she was rebuilding her nest.

I had thought that she might have given up rebuilding it, but it was wrong.

This scene made me happy and let me reconsider about the power of living things.

I would have been glad to see that myself. A couple of mockingbirds have been working on a nest in a tree right outside my apartment and it seems that they finally finished it. I look forward to the peeps of their children soon.

Thank you. I also like to see wild birds. Familiar wild-birds for most Japanese inlcude sparrow, swallow and crow.
