a short trip in Kokura

a short trip in Kokura

My new office locates in Kokura area in the city of Kitakyushu. I walk to the office through some streets with roofs called "arcade"(アーケード) or "shouten-gai"(商店街). I can reach to the office without using an umbrella because of the roofs.

This time, I took several photos of the scenes that I can see on my way to my office. I hope you can enjoy "a short trip in Kokura" from them.

thank you for the interesting shots. it's a good thing that you can walk under a roof never minding the weather. Though the people that work in the small shops there might miss the sky and the sun sometime.

This was a very nice presentation. It made me remember walking through Nagoya back when I was in Japan.

How long does it take you to get to work?

It takes about 15 minutes to get to my office.
