Cambodia's United Nation's supported war crimes court says it may take action against VOA's Khmer service. The court says the service revealed private court documents and names of members of Khmer Rouge with suspected rinks to genocide in the 1970. VOA officials said there is no reason for the investigation. VOA said such action could hurt reporting about an important international news story. Official also said VOA and its Khmer service will report on the court fully and fairly. Last month, VOA's Khmer service named three Khmer Rouge suspects who had been identified by court lawyers in private court papers. The three had already been identified by an American newspaper and a New Zealand Web site in June. VOA video reports in August showed pictures of the court documents.
